Alright Guys here's the deal. ONLY ONE WEEK 'TIL MUSIC CAMP!!!!!! And if you can't tell me and my little sister Emily are absolutely over the edge excited!!!!!! 7 days 'til I leave and only 5 more days of work!!! It seems way to good to be true.
Both me and Emily have been practicing really hard. This is Emily's first time at SMA and she's really excited. This is my second year and this year I'm working really hard towards the Honors Recital the last day. I'm also working on duet with my good friend Melissa. I'm having so much fun getting ready and practicing but it's tough finding enough time to get it all in. I have four hymn arrangements, and four of my own hymn arrangments I'm bringing for recitals; Three songs I'm bringing to work on; and I'm also working on a piano duet and a violin duet. Emily hasn't been playing an extremely long time but she's doing well and I'm very proud of how well she's doing and how hard she's practicing.
Well as you can see I have book and binders piled high that stuffed to the gills with things i need to work on so I'm off to tickle the old ivorys. I don't think I'll be posting again 'til I get back unless something really interesting happens. When I get back you'd better give your cmputer time to load because I will be putting records amount of pix on here. Please pray for us as we will be driving down there. SEE YA!

Hey guys! Wow this post is a little late but that's okay. On June 10th My uncle Glenn(above) received his master of Taekwondo rank. It was a really cool ceremony. It was really special to our family because we all used to take Teakwondo from his school. Sharon and Emily both received first degree black belts andt I received second degree black. So this was really cool because we got to see all the people who used to take with us have come so far. It made me miss it alot.
There was a great deal of variety in this ceremony. They also had testings and midterms for blackbelts and Tai Chi students. It was simply amazing to see all these people doing there forms and breaking these boards. I just sat there in disbelief that I had ever done all that stuff before. That was a long time ago! Lol! One of the neatest things was that my aunts brother coriagraphed all the forms that were shown. It was absolutely amazing!
The final ceremony was extremely touching. One of the required characteristics of a Master is gratitude and My uncle and the other man getting his masters with him had to show there gratitude to everyone that helped them get to that point. My uncle gave several little statues to members of the family including my mom, his sister. The best part was when he gave these engraved swords to two people. My uncle has several kid safety videos published and travels around the country to schools and such holding seminars on safety and bullying. The reason he started this was because he was bullied when he was in school and a friend of his that saved him from all that torture in school was at that ceremony. It was very touching to see my uncle give that sword to someone who meant so much to him. He them gave a sword to my grandfather would traveled from Illanois to be there. Talk about a sob fest. It was a really great time that I enjoyed immensly! I took some videos wiht my camera but this blogspot has trouble uploading things sometimes. I'll keep trying so keep checking in.
